Snow on Snow?

A snowless Christmas Eve, 2011
Despite the fact that I want to be writing about a winter wonderland and waxing poetic about Ms. Rossetti's bleak masterpiece, I find the ground bare and brown.  So I'll just move on to Happy New Year to each and everyone of you!  The 13th of January, 2012 will be the 2-year anniversary of Sage Parnassus.  I find that hard to believe.  It started simply by the encouragement of some friends and that is exactly what keeps me writing.  Your comments and personal emails are wonderful and confirm that someone, somewhere is actually reading all this.  I also love the suggestions you send about topics you want to see here.  They have been jotted down in my Ideas Journal for the blog.

    What a lovely family picture! We should do one too... we are kind of bad for it. I am seeing my nomination here before I read about it, and you, my dear friend, are the only one who make me do this memes! It seems short and sweet, I have enjoyed reading yours, so maybe others will enjoy reading mine. Congratulations on two years of a wonderful and cozy blog.
