I'm not sure people have a clear idea what it means, it's just far enough from what they know that they can paint it in all kinds of beautiful faux-nostalgia.Danahttp://roscommonacres.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-241960203289083167.post-79162632309156445162017-06-02T08:40:24.784-07:002017-06-02T08:40:24.784-07:00You raise a good point, Angela - it does have such...You raise a good point, Angela - it does have such cultural appeal. Right now the rural/pastoral life has a cultural appeal, and I know I have at times yearned for the atmospheric lessons that such a life could offer my kids. But, I find I would rather pay the butcher and baker than spend my days laboring at their tasks. Contentment in my own small bit of green grass is not a bad course to follow. ;)Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06232151797347229816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-241960203289083167.post-32305373969458591562017-05-29T19:46:32.448-07:002017-05-29T19:46:32.448-07:00This is so good, Nancy. I appreciate this reminder going into summer break. <3 Amy Mariehttp://hearthridgereflections.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
